Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Fast service, great prices, big servings, wonderful food! We were a group of 13, and the staff was very accommodating, welcoming, and SO fast. We ended up taking 6 carry out boxes after eating a lot of food-- we were hungry after canoeing all afternoon. I highly recommend this place!

Wasnt all that didnt taste great at all tried almost all the food. Only thing that was good was the host. This place was close to my workplace brought the coworkers they ate alot some like some didnt. My personal choice is i didnt like it. Didnt have no kick in the food that makes you want to eat more that why i gaved it a 2 star just because the host. Thanks.

Was in from out of town and dropped by because it was handy. Got buffet to go and was shocked at how good the flavors were. The buffet's in Tulsa where I live tend to be very bland and all dishes taste the same. This place had great and varied flavors. I'm surprised to see the low star reviews here as I'm quite picky with Chinese food and tend to rate most all of them low. Maybe the places are all awesome in this area and this is the only one I tried.

The food was terrible! Everything that was fried, which was 90% of the buffet, tasted like it was fried in old grease. The options were limited. Not worth the $10 per person (also $10 for kids) IMO. Just avoid!

I was a little iffy about trying a restaurant that I seen had two stars on but when you're in a town you do not know and starving anything goes. It was surprising to me to have to pay before you eat. That's already a red flag for me. You get charged for a soda if you wanted water-no questions asked. The waitresses were nice. The food was bland. The only good thing I seem there was some cake that was pink. Everything else looked boring and tasted boring. The egg drop soup had some kind of other thing in there that made it taste totally different. Fried shrimp- no flavor, mushrooms were alright, noodles- ok. Please reconsider. The place is nice and that's about it. Not sure how they even had as many customers as I've seen today. Maybe the locals?

I made a trip to Siloam Springs. I was so hungry on the way out of town. And I love oriental foods. I saw a nice new looking restaurant called Hunan Village. There were several cars there considering the time and day of the week. I walked in and noticed the nice decor of the restaurant. Now first let me just say, is there some kind of oriental restaurant 'kit' that these types of restaurants use? It has nice dark stained wood. Etched glass with eastern style art and then lit within with some kind of accent light? It's kinda getting a bit cliche. Did I mention the unnecessary chandelier? But, I digress. I was a bit worried about how this experience would go when I discovered you must pay first before you eat. In my experience when this occurs you are about to be greatly disappointed. And boy was I. The food is mostly bland and poorly prepared. Some things on the buffet I wouldn't try simply because of looks. Skewered chicken, dry without ever being put in a marinade. Chicken drummettes were the same. A 'seafood' salad that was swimming in a presumably watery mayonnaise. The cheese wontons were extremely hard. I have no idea what kind of wrapper they used but they were really crunchy. Not in a flaky delicious kind of way either. There was also little to no filling in them. Maybe they were being cooked so long the cheese just oozed out into the fry oil. I tried general tso's chicken, sesame chicken, coco shrimp, black pepper steak (which was the only dish I remember having any real flavor), egg rolls, and spring rolls. All of these dishes were bland and flavorless. Cashew chicken was passable. There were fried shrimp and two styles of potatoes that looked uninteresting. It does have a small salad bar featuring some cut up jello, mellon, and a flavorless Chinese salad among it's standard fare. Now onto the dessert bar. Cookies still sitting in the plastic sleeve they are packaged in. Placing them on a platter would have been a nice touch. Among the desserts are a few puddings. One claiming to be cheesecake which didn't appear to have any sort of crust. Assorted little cakes which is standard for a Chinese restaurant. But here is the kicker. The most tacky thing I have ever seen in my life. There are Little Debbie snack cakes on the bar. In the cellophane wrappers they come in. Including the Little Debbie's brownies that come two in a pack except they cut the wrapper in half but didn't remove it afterwards. Seriously? This restaurant is a joke. However, they seem to have repeat customers. The wait staff seemed very familiar with most of the patrons I saw there. I am baffled. Have these people ever left this town and experienced better Chinese food? Certainly if they had they would not frequent this place again. I certainly won't and advise you to do the same.

Consistent, but typical chinese buffet. If you've eaten at a good chinese buffet before, then you've eaten at Hunan Village. They do the ice cream, jello, sugar coated donut holes ... all the typical non-chinese, but fun for the kids kind of stuff. They are opening up a new location, so if it's across from Wal-mart then you've got the new location, and I'm guessing the atmosphere will be great.
